Parkwood Baptist Church is a Baptist church, independent from any particular Baptist organization. We hold to the King James Bible as our final authority and make every effort to follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit in our services and activities.

We enjoy the old-time hymns of the faith, along with psalms and spiritual songs, for the glory of the Lord and the edification of the saints. We believe that we can still be a faithful witness in our generation and be the salt and light our Lord has called us to be without compromising or adopting the world’s methods in order to draw a crowd. If we must become like the world to win the world, then the world has already won us. By God’s grace and with His help, Parkwood Baptist Church aims to stand firm in this evil day and, having done all, to stand.

We believe salvation is God’s gift, received by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ, and that this Gospel invitation is open to whosoever will. We’re not trying to manufacture an experience. We want church to be a place of sincere worship, meaningful fellowship, spiritual growth, and service. We have nurseries and activities for children, teens, college & career, families, and older adults.
